We've established quality standards over and above industry norms resulting in some of the finest commercially packed fruit available. By handling our own fruit on the farm, we ensure that the highest standards go into selecting, packing, and shipping the fruit. This allows us to develop Stone Ridge Orchard as a brand recognizable to consumers throughout the marketplace.

Cold Storage

As with all perishable products, apples are very sensitive to temperature. Therefore it is extremely important to cool them as soon after harvest as possible, and then keep them cold until they are packed for sale. By removing the field heat—apples often have internal temperatures higher than 100° F following harvest—and then storing them at 32°-34°F we ensure optimal storage life.

Packing

In addition to the standard industry packaging, we have developed packaging that accommodates our smaller volume customers or those that want to take advantage of the great variety we offer. What's more, we custom pack to your specifications. All fruit is packed Extra Fancy, unless otherwise requested, and PLU labeled with industry standard numbers.

Delivery

After packing, your order is delivered to you as soon as possible. We currently deliver anywhere in the Hudson Valley, New York City, and northern New Jersey region, as well as into Boston. Call for our delivery schedule.
